I initially contacted the Resource People because they came highly recommended through a trusted business colleague Michael Catlow of The Positive World. My initial draw after the referral was the price and professionalism as displayed per the website. While I had recently contacted and priced Web Development services from various companies, I knew my number could range from 3-5 thousand dollars for the scope of my project. I was excited to see the same services at only a fifth of the price, but I was skeptical as often you get what you pay for and this was not much.
After a thorough consultation with the head web-master (Ranard), he said he fully understood my vision and would do his homework then follow up with some options for template design and customization options. I was impressed with the number of options and choices I was given. After reviewing them we narrowed it down to a 2 favorites. From that point he began building the site and finished within a week.
Before launching he spent over 2.5 hours on the phone with me detailing the inner workings of the sites functionality as well as options to enhance in the future. This attention to detail as well as genuine care about my business was immeasurable. He understood that I was on a shoe-string budget but needed to have a web presence that appeared polished and professional.
I would say that the overall experience was excellent and I am not an easy customer. This was blue-collar red carpet at its finest. Hands down I would refer any small business that is looking to enhance their web-presence to consult The Resource People because they know what its like to start a business and do it within a minimal budget.
